A core function provides a GAAP-independent function for determining / calculating one or more results.
One or more components are used here.
Which components are used to determine a result variable in the component-based approach is described in blueprints.
A result variable can be used "externally" or "internally".
For example,
- an evaluation result can be transferred to an external system (e.g. accounting system)
- the cash flow plan can be provided internally for the core function "valuation".
